Venues Wellington present events at five iconic venues in the capital - The Opera House, the St James Theatre, The Michael Fowler Centre, Shed 6 and TSB Arena. Between them they present everything from sport to theatre and banquets to comedy plus being the home of the NZSO and the Royal New Zealand Ballet. The team in Wellington are offering the opportunity to spend 2-3 days with them. Arriving on Thursday, you'll join the weekly Delivery Meeting to review the upcoming events then spend the next two days working alongside them to deliver a variety of events across the venues. You'll be able to choose mutually practical dates showcasing the type of events you're interested in. This is an excellent opportunity for managers or staff from other EVANZ member venues to learn and observe processes and systems put in place by Venues Wellington to manage events under its control and to see the changeover between them in different venues. You'll shadow and have exposure to key members of the delivery team, see the set up being finalised and attend briefings and operational meetings. Be prepared to work!
What's Involved:
EVANZ will contribute up to $500 to assist with accommodation or travel costs.
Recipient must be available to deliver a presentation about their experience at the EVANZ end of year Conference in November.

Terms and Conditions:
One person will be awarded the scholarship. Any EVANZ member venue can apply.
REVIEW PANEL:
The review panel will consist of one representative from Venues Wellington and the EVANZ Board Learning & Development Sub Committee members. Review Panel decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
